Is there a limit on the amount of orders you take per week or weekend?
WE ONLY DO 2-3 ORDERS PER WEEKEND, with plans to increase the volume as we grow.
Do you deliver and set-up? Is there a charge?
Yes, we deliver and set up. Delivery and set up goes hand in hand. Yes, we charge for delivery. Click here for delivery rates.
Do you stay at the event?
Yes and No, Yes if we're invited to blog about your event.
Is a deposit required?
Yes. Usually about 50% of the total cost reserves your date. The amount of the deposit isn't important...getting on our calendar is what counts!
Are deposit refundable?
For all cake orders, there is a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure your order. The deposit is applied toward your final payment.
How many designers work on the cakes or cupcakes?
Melissa create, design each cake and every cake from the beginning to the end. Rodney helps when needed due to years of experience in art and design. Rodney handles the business side of legacy Cakery.
If we choose to pick up our cakes instead of delivery, when do we pick it up?

Is there a minimum order to place on cupcakes?
Yes! We limit the number of weekly orders to remain focus and stay consistent. Minimum order is 2 dozen standard cupcakes.
What flavors of cake or cupcakes do you make?
We make a variety of flavors included but not limited to Lemon, Chocolate, Vanilla, Marbled, Strawberry, Red Velvet, German, Carrot, Pumpkin Spice, Pistachio, Chocolate Chip, Coconut, Death by Chocolate, Strawberry Shortcake, Pineapple.
Are LEGACY CAKERY products nut-free?
Most of my flavors do not contain nut ingredients but Melissa, bake all of the desserts in our home kitchen where nut ingredients can possibly be used or may have a trace of a nut tree.
Is LEGACY CAKERY cake and cupcake gluten free?
No, at this time we do not offer any gluten free products
What type of payment does LEGACY CAKERY accept for orders or deposits?
We accept payments through PayPal, Chase Quick Pay, Zelle and cash app and our all time favorite CASH.

How do I contact you?
Please contact us through email at [email protected] if possible, but we are available on the phone at 347.762.0403, but ONLY ON WEDNESDAY, FRIDAY, SATURDAYS & SUNDAY. Email or text are always the quickest ways to contact us and you can always text us.
Do you take last minute orders?
Yes, if schedule permits. However the client will have to pay the full balance upon receiving the invoice.
What are the price ranges?
Pricing is determined by unique variables, including serving size and custom design.
Our custom cakes start at $250 (approximately 8-10 servings) Larger more complicated or detailed cakes start at $350 and up. Request a price quote here.

What is Cake Jars?
The concept originally originated from loving clients who referred my cakes to friends and family out of New York State.
Transport was a problem due to the delicate nature of cake. However, we was able to overcome this obstacle thanks to Melissa idea of the mighty Mason Jars.
We took this concept and refined it and created LOVE JARS by Legacy Cakery in late 2019.

Yes, our shipping order is a minimum of 3 Cake Jars.
Cake Jars come in the quantity of 3, 6 and 12 per shipping order.

How long do Cake Jars stay fresh?
Enjoy Cake Jars for 3 months in the freezer and up to 3 weeks in the refrigerator.
Do I have to refrigerate my Cake Jars?
Yes. Cake Jars contain dairy and must be refrigerated.
Are Cake Jars nut-free for allergies?
Most of my flavors do not contain nut ingredients but I bake all of the desserts in our home kitchen where nut ingredients can possibly be used or may have a trace of a nut tree.
Are Cake Jars shipped frozen?
Yes, cake jars are shipped frozen and sent using USPS Priority Mail 1-3 business days on ice. Make sure to refrigerate or freeze upon arrival. Please note that your cake jars might thaw during the delivery process.
Does Cake Jars deliver to my city?
Yes! we ship nationally (in the U.S.) so everyone can enjoy LOVE JARS. For more details about shipping click here.
Can I pick up an order of Cake Jars?
No, Only shipping orders are available.
Is there a ReFund Policy?
There is STRICTLY NO refunds. Subject to the condition of the jars, we may replace your LOVE JARS if found to be defected or ruin. This is dependent on how the customer handled the jars. Once delivery has been accepted at designated location (by customer, friend, bell desk, concierge, etc.), Legacy Cakery, LLC is released from any responsibility.
Are Jars microwavable?
No, our jars are not microwaveable and should not be used with hot food or liquids.
Does Cake Jars Infused with alcohol actually have an alcohol content?
JARS Infused with alcohol are up to 5% ABV and should only be consumed by those 21 and over. When placing an order online for nationwide shipping, please ensure someone 21+ is home to sign for the package.
How much Cake Jars Infused with alcohol do I need to eat to get drunk?
LOVE JARS Infused with alcohol are up to 5% ABV and do actually hold an alcohol content. As with consumption of any alcoholic beverage, your inebriation depends on body size, tolerance to alcohol, and what else you've eaten during the day. The serving size of 4 ounces is unlikely to make a moderate drinker drunk!
I sent Cake Jars as a gift and the recipient wasn’t home. Can you re-ship or re-deliver?
Before placing an order, please confirm that someone will be available to sign for the package upon arrival. If the recipient is not home to receive, a fee will be charged for redelivery or reshipment.

We recommend choosing an arrival date 7-10 days in advance. Sometimes high order volume (esp. during the holidays) or weather conditions can make USPS operational schedule a little crazy!
