Sprinkle anyone? Wait, you never heard of it?

A Sprinkle is a trendy new way to celebrate the birth of a second or third child.The sprinkle tends to be a smaller version of a baby shower. As family members and close friends are invited  it typically is more intimate and there isn’t a registry.

As all babies are a blessed gifts from up above. A sprinkle is a chance to prepare for a new gender and a way to provide the parents with essentials for their new arrival. Because let’s be honest having more diapers is never a bad thing with a newborn. Plus it’s an awesome way to celebrate and send well wishes to the growing family.

This weekend, we had the privilege to throw a Sprinkle for an amazing family in NJ. What better way to celebrate her pending birth plus the last days of summer by hosting a shower. With the aid of the grandparents, the lovely couple was celebrated by close friends and family members  as their new arrival is expected to make her debut in early September.

The theme was Baby Girl Owl, although the gathering was small and intimate. It was filled with fun games, props photo-booth and awesome food. Thank you again Kim & George for allowing us the opportunity to celebrate this special day and give Tsquared (our nickname for the baby) a proper welcoming celebration.

Baby Girl Owl Cake- three tiered Red Velvet Cake filled and covered with cream cheese frosting. Not to exclude the sibling we added a soccer ball on top.
